The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in association with our community partners, provides a one-stop location where current and future small business owners can utilize computing resources and receive business assistance and advice as described below. These services are provided FREE OF CHARGE:

Small Business Reference Library

  • 200 books and publications
  • 300 entrepreneur guidebooks
  • 75 management videos

Counseling Services

  • Legal Counseling (9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on 1st, 3rd, & 4th Monday of the month):
    One-on-one legal advice with topics that include legal structures, reviewing contracts, and real estate leases.
  • Financial Assistance (9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon every Friday):
    Community bankers counsel on the eligibility requirements to obtain SBA or conventional financing.
  • Federal Tax Counseling (9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on second Monday of the month):
    Tax specialists discuss startup requirements and provide assistance to businesses that may have an existing tax problem.
  • Exporting Assistance (By appointment):
    Specialists advise small businesses that are in need of exporting assistance and financial assistance.
  • Government Contracting (By appointment):
    Assistance with the steps to make the government (federal, state, county or city) your customer.
  • Business Plan Review Program (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday):
    Professional review of clients' business plans prior to submission to a banker or investor. This review is conducted by The Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE).
  • Video Conferencing (By appointment):
    Conferencing throughout the country to tap into specialized resources.
  • Small business growth teams (By request):
    High school and college level marketing students will be paired with existing small business owners for the purpose of creating a marketing plan designed for the assigned small business.
